How do I change my phone?
Hold the # key for two seconds to open Your phone. Choose a model or a saved design, select a colour if available, then tap OK. Cancel leaves your current phone unchanged.
Where can I scan a phone QR code?
In Your phone, open Settings and choose Scan QR code. Point the camera at a KROMA phone QR code, check the selected look, then tap OK to use it.
How do I rotate a 3D phone?
Choose a look with a 3D badge and let its download finish. On the main phone screen, swipe the outer phone body to see the back. The Front icon shows loading progress and returns a rotated phone to its front view.
How do I change the phone size?
From the retro phone menu, open Settings → Phone settings → Scale. Choose a size from 80% to 150%, press OK, then press OK again during the three-second save prompt. Press C or wait to keep the previous size.
Custom phones & gifts
How do I make a phone with my photos?
Hold # for two seconds and tap Customize. Choose Air for free, Original with Plus, or Sport with Premium. The same base requirement applies to saved designs and gifts. Add front and back photos, adjust the crops, then choose Save & Use or Save & Gift. The screen, keys and fixed details stay in place.
How many custom phones can I keep?
Free lets you keep 1 custom phone, Plus 10, Premium 100 and Ultra 1,000. This counts your own saved designs in Custom across all bases; received Gifts do not count. It is a saved-design limit and does not reset each month. If you already have more than your plan allows, they stay saved. You can still edit or delete them, subject to their base requirement. Make room or upgrade before adding another custom phone.
How do I send a phone through KROMA?
Tap the gift icon on a saved design, or choose Save & Gift in the editor. On Gift a phone, choose Send via KROMA and select your friend. Both people need KROMA Connect set up; your original design stays in Custom.
How do I share a phone with AirDrop?
On Gift a phone, choose AirDrop or share and send the .kroma gift file. On the receiving iPhone, open it in KROMA or use Import in Your phone. Preview it, choose a name and tap Accept gift; the saved copy appears in Gifts.
How do I edit or delete a saved design?
In Your phone, tap the edit icon beside a design in Custom or Gifts. Change its photos and save, or choose Delete design and confirm. Deleting your saved copy does not remove a copy you already gave to a friend.
Calls & messages
Where is my KROMA number?
Open Contacts → My number and finish setup. Share the full 10-digit number with your friend, including its leading zero. This number is for KROMA calls and messages, not ordinary mobile or emergency calls.
Why is a call or message not reaching my friend?
Check that both iPhones have Internet access and KROMA set up. Use your friend’s full 10-digit KROMA number, including the leading zero. Check notification permission in iPhone Settings if alerts do not arrive.
Why does My number say Please wait?
When number setup is busy, KROMA shows a local retry time. Wait until that time; repeatedly reopening the app will not speed it up. If you already have a number to recover, choose Restore my number.
How do I keep my number if I change iPhones?
Before deleting KROMA or changing iPhones, open Contacts → My number → Options → Keep my number. Use Sign in with Apple or keep a recovery code somewhere safe. Restore my number recovers your number; it is not a backup of locally saved messages and media.
How do I send a voice message?
Open Messages → Voice Messages and choose Record. Record up to 30 seconds, then choose Stop and Listen. Choose a recipient and confirm when you are ready to send.
Plans & allowances
What does each plan include each month?
Free includes 200 messages, 30 outgoing call minutes and 20 voice messages. Plus includes 3,000 messages, 300 minutes and 200 voice messages. Premium includes 10,000 messages, 1,000 minutes and 1,000 voice messages. Ultra has unlimited monthly messages, outgoing call minutes and voice messages. What counts towards my allowance?
Each sent text, photo or video uses one message. Voice messages have their own allowance and can be up to 30 seconds each. Only answered outgoing call time counts; each call can last up to two hours. A call counts in the UTC month when answered. Receiving messages or calls uses no allowance. Monthly allowances reset on the first day of each month at 00:00 UTC, with no rollover.
Which plan do I need for a custom phone?
Air is free. Original requires Plus or above. Sport requires Premium or above. Premium and Ultra include all models and custom bases. The same base requirement applies when using, editing or gifting a saved design. Receiving a gift does not include a paid subscription. Your saved designs stay on your iPhone when a plan ends.
Can I move my paid allowance to another iPhone?
A paid Connect allowance belongs to one KROMA number. Restore that same number on the new iPhone, then restore or sync your purchases. Creating a new number does not move the allowance. An older purchase that has not been linked yet belongs to the first KROMA number that successfully syncs it.
Camera & games
Why is my capture missing from iPhone Photos?
Check KROMA’s Photos permission in iPhone Settings. Open Camera → Photos in KROMA to check the local gallery. The Saved to iPhone Photos notice appears only after a successful save to iPhone Photos.
How do I record and watch a video?
Open Camera → Make a video, choose a camera, then start and stop recording. Open Camera → Photos to see video thumbnails. Open a video and choose Play.
Why are the game keys not responding yet?
Wait for the intro to finish; some take about three seconds. On a phone with a two-way rocker, use 2, 4, 6 and 8 for four-way controls. Press C to pause or go back, and check the full guide for each game’s controls.
How do I change game sounds and vibration?
Open Games → Settings to switch Game sounds, Game lights and Shakes on or off separately. Keypad tones are a separate setting under Tones → Keypad tones.
